Facebook Causes Delays

November 9th, 2007

Apologies for the lack of updates, I have been preoccupied with that addictive website, Facebook.com. Someone finally got me to create a profile on it, and have since been catching up with long lost friends and toying with the application plugins available.

Anyway, back to the update in question. To make up for the delay in posting any updates, I’m giving you two in one. First up we have Greece Tour - Day Five, along with the gallery for the photos taken at Zea Marina during that day.

Secondly I have posted Cycling Cuba - Day Nine. The day before the night to remember that I can’t remember too well. If you get me drift. You’ll have to wait for details of night nine though. Oh the anticipation.

Groovy Tag Cloud

October 28th, 2007

You may have noticed that there seems to be a whole load of words on the bottom of the right sidebar. This is the new tag cloud I have introduced. Play about with it by hovering over it with the mouse. Click on a word to see all posts relating to that word. The closer the word is to you, the more posts there are relating to that word.

In addition to this I’ve also managed to find the time to add another day to the Greece holiday personal log. This time its in Delphi, the centre of the world. Take a look here:

And to finish off todays update, I’ve added some photos from America.

On A Roll

October 25th, 2007

Well I seem to be on a roll here with another update this week. This time I have completed day three of our Greece holiday.

Greece Tour - Day Three Athens

I’d love to hear if anyone has preferences as to what I upload next, galleries for which countries, personal logs or perhaps something else entirely, just let me know.

Cuban Photos and Gravatars

October 24th, 2007

For a while now I have not been happy with the Cuban photos all being lumped into one gallery. I finally got round to splitting these up into seperate galleries based on the various locations, and added a lot of new pictures. Hope you enjoy them

I’ve also enabled Gravatars on the site. Gravatar allows you to assign pictures to emails, free to use, so when comments are made on Gravatar enabled blogs using that email, your picture will be displayed. Pretty neat. If you havent got one set up already head to site.gravatar.com and post a comment here to try out.

New Galleries As Promised

October 21st, 2007

As promised I’ve added some more photos - two galleries taken from our 2006 holiday in Norway. Laerdalsoyri was a picturesque small town with a slight eerie vibe due to the fact that the place seemed to be deserted. Perhaps everyone had just left town for the day. The second gallery is around our visit of the Urnes Stave Church. This is a world heritage site, and the oldest wooden stave church in Europe. Not to mention surrounded by some fantastic scenery.

Enjoy.

Its Finally Here

October 18th, 2007

I finally found time to finish off the second installment of our Greece holiday.

Greece Tour - Athens Day Two

I’ll do my best to get day three up sooner, but next on my list of things is to get some more of my photos on here, so stay tuned.

A New Look

October 8th, 2007

The release of Wordpress 2.3 inspired me to have a complete overhaul of this site. I’m hopeing that moving from a static front page to more of a news update approach will bring me a little closer to my readers (If there are any of you still out there). As always I am keen to hear what you think, so let me know. I hope you like it.

I’ve also had some time to add two new photo galleries,

Vienna (Austria)
Florence (Italy)
